President's Message

Farm Gate to Dinner Plate

On behalf of our directors and dedicated volunteers, I would like to welcome everyone to the 168th Kincardine Fall Fair.

Back on our schedule of events this year is the Ambassador Program on Friday August 30th. This program kicks off our weekend and includes the opening ceremonies with local dignitaries, the OAAS Service Award presentation, entertainment, and our popular pie & silent auctions. We would also like to thank our 2018/2019 Ambassador Katie Voskamp for being such a great representative of our Agricultural Society throughout the year!

Our main event day is Saturday August 31st beginning at 9am. Back by popular demand is our Kids Zone, which includes: Grand River Inflatables, Nerf Invasion, a petting zoo, bubble zone, Soper Creek Wildlife Presentation and much, much more. Of course we can't forget about our traditional dairy, beef, 4-H and poultry competitions which will be going on throughout the day. Inside our main pavilion you will be welcomed by the classic country sounds of the Steve Deer Band, as you wander through the beautiful quilts, flower, culinary, vegetable, photography and craft exhibits, as well as all the hard work our local school children have put into their schoolwork for our elementary competition. What would a fair be without food? Homemade pies, food trucks, and hotdog carts are just some of the options we have in store! Bring some loonies to try your hand at winning a delicious cake at our exciting cake wheel!

Our Society takes pride in its long history in the Municipality of Kincardine. We encourage others to help us continue this very important community effort. If you love the fair as much as we do, come and join us! Agricultural awareness has never been more important than it is now and it is our belief that we can all work together to create a conversation that everyone can join in. Last but not least, thank you to all our generous sponsors! Through the support of our local business community, Municipality, County and corporate donations, the Kincardine Fall Fair continues to grow.

See you at the fair!
